Ticketpane is built so that we see as little of your data as possible. This page says exactly what is collected, by whom, and why.

The extension

• Your Jira credentials (site URL, email, API token) are stored in your editor's encrypted secret storage on your machine. They are sent only to your own Jira Cloud site, over HTTPS. We never receive them.
• Your Jira data (issues, comments, attachments) travels directly between your machine and Atlassian. Ticketpane has no server and does not store, proxy or copy it.
• License check. When you activate Pro, the extension sends your license key to Polar's validation endpoint and stores the result locally. This tells Polar the key was used and on how many machines.
• Error reports are optional and off by default. If you turn them on, crash details (stack trace, extension version, editor version, operating system) go to Sentry. They never include your Jira data or credentials. The setting also respects your editor's global telemetry setting.

The website

• ticketpane.com uses PostHog for anonymous page analytics (page views, referrer, rough country). No cookies are set for tracking and no advertising networks are used.
• If you email support@ticketpane.com we keep the email to answer it.

Purchases

Checkout is handled by Polar Software Inc., our merchant of record. Polar collects your email, payment details and billing country to process the payment, issue the receipt and calculate tax, under Polar's privacy policy. We receive your email address and order details so we can provide support and refunds.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, at support@ticketpane.com. Deleting your data on our side does not remove anything from your Jira site.
