Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Geary Works ("we", "us"), 1380 Rio Rancho Blvd SE #470, Rio Rancho, New Mexico 87124, USA, for the Ticketpane editor extension and the ticketpane.com website (together, "Ticketpane"). Installing or using Ticketpane means you accept them.

1. What Ticketpane is

Ticketpane is an extension for Visual Studio Code and compatible editors that connects to your Jira Cloud site using credentials you supply. It is an independent product. It is not made, endorsed or supported by Atlassian.

2. Free and Pro

The Free tier may be used at no charge. Pro features are unlocked by a license key sold as a one-time purchase. One license is for one developer and may be activated on up to three machines that developer uses. A 14-day trial of Pro is offered at no charge.

3. Purchases

Purchases are processed by Polar Software Inc. ("Polar"), our merchant of record. Polar's checkout terms, tax handling and payment processing apply to the transaction. Prices are shown in US dollars; taxes are added where required. Our refund policy is part of these terms.

4. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Ticketpane. You may not resell, share or publish a license key, reverse-engineer the license check, or use Ticketpane to break Atlassian's terms for your Jira site.

5. Updates and support

Pro includes all updates released within one year of purchase; after that you keep the version you have. Support is by email at support@ticketpane.com. We aim to reply within two business days but do not promise response times.

6. Your data

Ticketpane sends requests from your machine directly to your Jira Cloud site. We do not run a server that stores your Jira data. See the privacy policy.

7. No warranty; limitation of liability

Ticketpane is provided "as is". To the fullest extent allowed by law we disclaim all warranties, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost data in your Jira site caused by actions you take through Ticketpane.

8. Termination

You may stop using Ticketpane at any time. We may revoke a license that is shared, resold, or obtained by fraud.

9. Changes

We may update these terms; the effective date above changes when we do. Material changes are announced in the extension's changelog.

10. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, USA.
